Basically what's the difference between a 92 octane and a 110-116 octane chip? I know timing. What else?
Thanks,
Guy

Timing, probably close to 25-27*
Fueling, more needed because of higher boost levels
MAF lock @ 255
BLM lock @ WOT
TCC lockup @ WOT
Probably some other misc. special options as well

Hi Clayton,
So does the race chip have more features than the street chip? Do you think I could run the race chip (more features) on 92 gas with the Alky? If I take out some timing with the Trans+?

Thanks,
Guy

You could probably get away with that, but I would give Joe a call and ask him what he thinks. I know he does burn a chip specifically for alky so you may want to have him do that. If you do use your race chip, you should check what the timing is (probably around 26*) and peel it back to around 20* to start with to play it safe. Work your way up from there.
