Does joe lubrant have a website? Or do yall know any other good chipmakers for a stocker 87 gn that have a website?

87gnstock, in my opinion, the best chip developer for our cars is, and has always been, Red Armstrong. More of his chips have been in winning cars at the GS Nationals since 1989 than ALL OTHER CHIP MAKERS COMBINED.

Their number is (440) 235-3232. They're super-cheap, as well. Chips run $75 for your first, $50 for any additional ones, and $25 if you ever need yours updated.

Good luck.

Glad it is just your opinion because mine says the Max-Effort 16 position may never be equaled!:D

who sells the max-effort chip?is it better for the street or for the track?and also can any injector be used with it or does it have to be changed or upgraded when using different injectors? thanks

Considering it has 8 settings for street and 8 for track it is better. Not only that you can actually change settings with the thumbwheel. Steve Yaklin sell them and does all the settings but I don't know if you can go from one injector to the next. In the programs I had the defaults changed very little from 55's to 83's. Maybe Steve Y can answer this question of if it actually has to go back to have it changed when going through the injector progression. I just sent him mine with a little $$ for all the time and help he gave me so I guess it didn't really matter to me.

You will need to get Steve to re-burn your chip or buy another chip if you change injectors but it just plugs right in so it's an easy change.

Intercooler,
How does one get aholt of Steve? (get aholt is Texan for "locate")
I've been interested in the MaxEffort for some time now, and have quizzed Steve Wood a bit about them. But I have yet to follow thru. How many different MaxEffort designs are there?

Thanks,
Erik

Just an 8 position if he still does them and the 16 position which is best. If you do a search his info will come up.
