Hello, all. I am most pleased to find such a tremendous site! I am very impressed!
I have the fun right now of getting my 1986 T-Type on the road. It has been sitting for far too long (long story) and only has 7,700 miles! The car was special ordered and therefore has every option that was available that year (moonroof instead of the problematic panels) except the Lear Sigler seats--at the time no one could seem to get a car ordered with those and after waiting a long time went ahead without them. (Sure am glad I got the AM Stereo feature--how long was that relevant
)
The car is white with gray interior.
One problem of having all options is that it has the electronic climate control. I have a great shop getting her in tip top shape, but am having a heck of a time finding a climate control module that is apparently no longer made or carried by GM/AC Delco, the infamous part no. 25500218. If any kind soul knows where such could be found, I would be grateful.
When I get it fully operational (shortly if I find the part), it will go in for some detailing and touch up, and then it should be a great vehicle for summer car shows.
Thanks for being part of such a great site. T-Type Charlie
