Jumping the AC Compressor

Guys, I'm trying to see weather or not my AC compressor is toast, with the
AC on the compressor DOES NOT come on, so to jumper it I put a paper clip
to between the 2 terminals on the switch on the Accumulator, STILL no Clutch
engagement!! IS that the correct way to jumper it?????

Jump the terminals on the plug, not the switch itself. Also make sure all your fuses are good and your cooling fan isn't binding.
