Just a couple of questions

Im buying terrible t 1985 hot air tommorow{its posted in the for sale section},we are meeting in ohio where I will be the new owner {cant wait}any way my question is this its a carbed 3.8 turbo but I would like to put a alky kit on it and maybe some underdrive pulleys,were can I buy a nice kit? also who makes a good aftermarket turbo for this motor?,also will under drive pulleys hurt anything?I have only owned ic cars and never played with a hot air car before,the car runs 13.50 now with 15psi and would like to turn it up to 20lbs with a alky kit,any suggestions you guys can make would be greatly appreciated,thanks...

I am confused as to what you are buying. All 1985 TTYPES are fuel injected. Only a sick minded person would put a carbed turbo on an 85. Let us know what you have. Good luck- Brad

Im sorry the is a 1985 regal limited,but converted to a 1983 carbed 3.8 turbo motor,my mistake I should have cleared that up in the post.....

I would post this question in the Before Black section. I also would call Julio at AlkyControland see if his kit will work on your car. The other issue is the ECM chip. E-mail Eric at Turbotweak and ask if he can burn an Alky chip for your setup. This upgrade would be very difficult for your new car. But I know absolutly nothing about a carbed turbo Buick.
