I am sure this is covered somewhere else but I don't. Know where. So I have a heated o2 sensor conversion from Caspers and I have maybe 5 miles with it on the car(and a lot of time idling). I don't have a scanmaster but I have a snap-on scan tool. Anyway when the key is on I am getting 490mv and as soon as the car is started it drops to 0 and sometimes jumps up to maybe 30. I unplugged the sensor and got the exact same readings. Is it safe to say that the o2 is bad already or could it be something else? I did run about 5 gallons of 85 octane through it at idle while trying to get it running after almost 9 years in storage. Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the signal is not getting through. Get a single wire Denso and see what happens.
