I just finished bolting up my PTE 6262, "E" cover, billet journal bearing turbo. I had a TE60 with a garrett .63 housing before and it was great but this turbo definetly has some potential!

I was just taking the car out for a little cruise to check everything over and I hit the throttle at 50 mph and the car instantly wanted to go sideways! This thing hits hard when it comes on!

It doesn't spool as fast as my TE60. Which I knew it wouldn't but it is very acceptable. I can't wait to get to the track and see what kind of numbers this thing will produce. I may change the converter after I get some numbers at the track.

I have to port the wastegate hole yet but when this thing spools its instant! More to come!

Thanks again Cal and Holly at Hartline Performance.

I got my boost issues resolved finally. Now its holding at a steady 17psi. Hopefully I will be taking the car to the track in a few weeks once they open.

This turbo feels alot more powerful even at the current 17psi boost level. Compared to the TE60 I had on there, its no comparison! I haven't even begun tapping this turbo to its full potential yet. The top end pull is unbelievable. At any speed slower than 50 mph it blows the tires off! I got a set of M/T e.t streets coming for it now. It needs them.

Im actually kinda afraid of breaking something. Its gonna be an animal when the boost gets cranked up to 24psi!

Sounds like fun!, been considering a 6262 myself since I can't seem to find a reasonably priced ta-49
