I've got a TE44, 210/205 cam, MSD 50's, and all the other stuff that makes it work. I have the stock heads(not ported) and have been able to squeek a 7.32 at 92.5 on 21#'s of boost which should translate into a 11.50 or so. If i get the Champion Irons, will that get me a 10 sec. slip if i turn the boost up to 25#'s or so. Or do i need t go to a bigger turbo. Or could i just go to a bigger turbo and no heads. Oh yea, i've also got an Art Carr 3500 stall.

3500 stall on a 44?? I'm no expert but thats way too much stall for a Te44. If your looking for 10's i'd upgrade the turbo, injectors, and fuel pump first. You'll need more fuel with the new head. I'd say 55lber with the ECM mod. From what i understand a 3500 stall TC is good for somethnig like a PT-70 turbo or something! This spring i'm going to a TE-60 and doing a 2800-3000 stall

I recently went to the track to try it out and the converter didn't hurt me, it helped. A lot of people told me that it would kill my mph but it didn't. I ran a 7.32 at 92.56 on 21 lbs. i had a 7.33 at 93.65 with the converter locked and 23lbs. so i don't think i'm going to benefit off of it hat much until i get a bigger turbo.
