Nice .....the addiction has begun....do not discount a good stock location innercooler upgrade can do, A TA 49 with a big neck stock innercooler [a 17 row would be the hot set up] and old school ford 36# blue top injectors was one of my most favorite driving combos I ever had.

Couple that with a 3" stainless downpipe and one of todays hi quality alky kits and you can have great hard running
combo at 24ish pounds of boost. 11.70's all day long.

Hey Thanks for the info , I got some 60 lbs and a chip from TT on the way just need to upgrade my IC probably getting one from RJC or GN1 and yes the addiction is here . My wife ask the other morning does the upgrading / buying ever end and I just grinned and said " No " my love .

what are your ultimate goals for the car? seems not to be much considering the choice of turbo. i would save on the mic get a duttweiler neck and you'll notice plenty difference. id say money is better spent on an alky system. if you're running regular 93 you will not notice much boost wise. maybe a quicker spool but not by much either way have fun

I'm hoping for mid to low 11's , I have a friend that has had 2 TB in the past and this set up is what he suggested . I have the alky kit from Julio on the car . I'm a new owner but have loved the cars from day one . I have heard and read a lot on this site about up grades . The only time the car has been at the track it ran 7 flat with the set up you can read on my signature . Everybody has their own thoughts and ideas on these cars . Thank you for replying Keith

is this a typo?7 flat in the 1/8 is close to a 10 sec 1/4 pass and faster than any stocker combo I have seen or heard of.
 
I need a front mount IC to help me with my upgrades , any ones out there for sale ?
if your mind is set on having one I have and old kb big boy front mount same one I ran into the 10s with a 49 turbo.pm me if your serious.
 
You may experience surging problems going to a FM or even a PTC stock location IC. I am still running a stock IC and went 11.32 on a stock block. 11.0 on the current build. No surging and very quick response on the street!

Runs like a stocker no over heating problems!

we have got it all together , but the car is running ruff , Pulled plugs and they look good . Just gotta narrow down the problem . I have been told that this is a pretty good set up . Thanks keith
 
A vacuum leak will give you a rough idle. Double check all the vacuum hoses and zip tie them also the MAF tube and sensor connectors. These cars need everything perfect or they give you endless headaches for the smallest mistake!

If your transmission is stock I would start saving for a shift kit and converter they will get you to your goal!
 
I have been chasing loose ends , I'm sure its something simple just gotta find it . And yes the next attention will be on the tranny . I got a cooler from David H. just gotta mount it . And you have a smoking hot ass woman sitting on the bumper of your car , very nice . Must be your Wife
