KB header leaks

Anybody have any idea on how to seal KB headers? Mine are leaking at the header to uppipe and at the downpipe to exhuast housing elbow. tia

Long time no see. How's the bumper?

I hate to say it but that leak is always going to be a problem. I have even tried a solid metal gasket and that cracked and blew out too. My uppipe is getting welded to the header when the motor goes back together. I could get it to seal for a week or two and then it would blow out again and I never got the problem fixed. Then again I have a friend that has owned his headers for 5 years and is still on the original gasket. Maybe some of the uppipes were defective.

I'm pulling my down for the third time in two years for the same thing. Starting to wear me real thin. I'm going to do every little trick I've read in here this time and if they blow out again..to the bone yard.........PITA..!!
