Kbb Values

KBB is a service owned by the auto dealers. It serves them to establish low trade in values and high retail values. They do not serve the car collectors or the general public. KBB is designed to be a guide not reality. NADA is in a sense the same only serves the insurance claims industry. These are guides not ment to be a real world reporting. :D

in that case maybe i should pray for my bad condition GN to be stolen...as long as its registerd correctly haha....but really jk....it actually had a high retail value aswell, and trade in

My car was broken into, and the theifs messed up quite a bit. I made a claim, and the insurance tried to tell me It was going to be close to a total loss according to blue book value, saying there was about 5k damage (the car needed to be painted also). Long story short, I told the insurance to research the vehicles actual value due to the fact that I had less than 5k miles on fresh motor/tranny, and the car was in good shape. The vehicle had a salvage title from a previous theft, and they ended up valueing it at 11k.

The blue book value that I was shown (the actual book) for my car in good condition with a CLEAN title was only 4700 dollars. Did you get 14k off the web site?
