I think it's a Mallender brake, but I'm not sure. I can't seem to find that issue of GMHTP where they document the install.

Dont really need the brake but but the v-body should shift like a rock and that is what I need for my car

This valve body is compatible with the stock pan - that's how we used it. The brake assembly is complete - I don't know if any other parts are required to install this valve body in place of your existing one, though. Any parts needed could be used from your existing valve body.

The brake is very easy to use and requires no external switches or wiring. The brake is activated by placing the shifter in low gear. The second gear detent is removed on the valve body, and the shifter is moved to third to release the brake.

We removed it from the car because my wife drives the car primarily and it shifted too hard for her. And we didn't really have a need for the brake.

Shipping will be $16 (It's heavy!), and the VB will be packed securely and fully insured.

Correction...

The brake is a Stage Right, not a Mallender as previously stated. And it is still available.
