(1) rebuilt Prestolite A0017706AA extreme duty alternator. Does over 100 amps at an idle. 145 amp Lt1 alt doesn't even come close to the true power output of this beast. Made for ambulances and busses, so the parts are twice as strong and welded, not soldered together.The last alternator You"ll ever have to put on Your GN. No more low voltage or current problems.(would need to swap out the pulley and modify the upper bracket and run a 1/0 cable to the battery) Over $500 new. $220 shipped in the lower 48. It has a dual V-belt pulley. Any autozone can swap it out for a serp. pulley. Sorry, no pics for bracket mod. Paul
