knkr readings with extender chip

I am not getting any readings on my 0TC 4000e. I get the yes there is knock plus I can hear it. Am I not going to beable to get my knkr readings with the extender chip I have?

If you have audible knock, and an extender, you have some serious problems!.

You can only hear knock when you exceed the max retard the ecm can handle, which is typically 12d. So your looking at like 14+d of knock.

I'm not aware of any extender that would effect the ALDL data stream for knock.
Might try another scanner.
