Not yet the weather went to crap out here and the one nice day we had i spent working but tomorow is suposed to be sunny and in the high 60s and i bought a boost gauge and just sent the mo out for the afpr yesterday so hopefully soon. tomorow morning im installing the boost gauge and hooking up my fuel psi gauge with the stock regulator and will report back some numbers. On a side note any of you guys from the northern ohio area race at thompson on wednesday nights?

Ok i can finally get back to this car I got of work early today and the weather is perfect. Since my last post i have installed a vdo boost gauge
(wich i must say I am very dissapointed with how bright this thing lights up) and an afpr right now the psi is set at stock and at idle my blm is very lean like at 150 ive also installed a 160 stat. I brought home a scanner and pressure gauge today and am going to try to up the psi a bit and see if it brings my blm down. No i do not have an upgraded fuel pump and hotwire kit. But i will in a week or two (depending how good this week is at the dealer). I just want to see what i can get out of this stock pump just so i can see the improvement when i install the new one I got the boost at 15psi which is still to much because as soon as it hits 15 knock knock but I want to play with the fuel before I bring it down to around 13 or 14. I was also able to get a used 93 red armstrong chip for stock injectors which i havent put in yet I would like to get the car running a little better before I put a Chip in it. Going to the garage right now I will post back in a bit with my psi readings.

I think you have to do the fuel pump/hotwire kit asap! Why risk damage when this mod was pretty much required on stock cars?

If your running a stock chip with a 49 yoyr never gonna get that thing right the 49 pushes more air than the stock turbo so your gonna have to adjust fueling through the chip to compansate. You need to talk to Eric at TT about burning you a chip for you combo and for gods sake turn the boost down. I am telling you this because my chip is set up for a stock turbo and i have a 49 on the car now so i added 10% more fuel through the chip instead of ordering a new one Eric told me it was ok to do this. Mine also knocked when i first put the 49 on untill i made a call too Pacecarta and he advised me on what to do HTH

Usually head up to Thompsons dependind on what schedule I am working. On a side note there is a track rental going onthere the 14th of May. I believe it is like 75 or 100 to run from 9-5. Majority will be mustangs but everyone is welcome.

ok so i went and adjusted the fp to 42psi line off and while i was in that area i noticed a big loop of wire coming off the back of the alt and going down behind the compressor im gonna put the car on the lift tomorow and hopefully its what i think it is. I put a fuel gauge on the window and it rised pound for boost all the way till i hit 15 psi of boost the car accelerates better but still gota turn the boost down a little at idle in drive after a run on the freeway these are my readings blm=130 ect=195 int=133 02volts= 0.54 but that would go as low as 0.18 to 0.74 tmorow i will let u no some wot numbers after i turn down the boost a bit more. The car feels a bit better does it seem like im making improvement? and for a 160 stat does 195 still seem a bit hot?
