Knock at WOT

YEsterday I put the K&N setup on my TTA. Then I put in the Thrasher 92. Go out on the highway to test her out and the knock gage is going to the red at WOT. Plus the car just isn't going fast. I took the thrasher out and put the stock chip back in. It ran better witht the stock chip. Not as much knock but still occasionally going to red. In the yellow for sure every time.

Is my thrasher bad?

I turned by fuel up from 46 to 48 and still getting knock.

No turbolink yet, but will try to get it this week. I guess until I get that it will be hard to diagnose.

when i first put in my thrasher i overboosted too much so i had to turn the boost down. you have to have a boost guage. after some tuning i am running 17 pounds of boost in 3rd gear (about 20 in 1st and 2nd) on 93 octane with only a few degrees of knock (about 3 degrees on my scanmaster) try turning down your boost a little and checking your o2 numbers,as well as tps voltage at wot.
