knock gauge and dfi

i have a friend with a dfi on his gn motor i wanted to know if he needs a knock gauge and do u need to adjust the fuel pressure gauge

The gen 6 dfi will retard the timing and you can view that on the screen, but i would still get a knock gauge, because by the time the dfi responds to knock its usually too late! The fuel pressure should be set at 43 lbs and you adjust to your program to work with that pressure, you should not be adjusting it like you when you play with chips!

OK WHERE DO I HOOK THE KNOCK GAUGE TO ON THE DFI

connect it to the same wire on the factory harness, side as the instructions show on the gauge. IT should be pre wired in the dfi harness adapter already
