Ok, I recently installed Casper's gauge into my 87 GN. Now from time to time, when I turn the ignition and its supposed to crank, the car goes completely dead as if the battery is gone. To get the power back to the car, I have to simply jiggle the battery in the engine compartment and everything is back powered.

I have the power wire into the IGN spot in the fuse box, the ground is to the radio ground and of course, the B7 wire on the ECM... any help would be appreciated guys.

Tighten you battery connections and check that the connector to the ECM is fully seated.

There is a switch on the steering column that might be worn out. Just replaced mine a couple weeks ago. Parts stores carry it. Allow a few hours to get up in there after you drop the steering column. High beam switch also has to come out as it is attached to the ignition switch.
