i know any knock is too much, but what is the limit. When i hit the track, or even the street i'm gonna be keep a close eye on my scanmaster...when should i shut down the run? 4 degrees? 6 degrees? i don't wanna blow my motor up, but i'm gonna be running pretty much stock right now, powerplate and only 94 octane.

but just in case i start seeing knock at the track how much knock is too much?

Hard question, but I would be most afraid of knock at the end of 2nd gear and throughout 3rd gear. Most guys get some false knock in first and rule it out. But to be safe the computer takes out timing for you. So just tune it little by little so that when you get to the track you do not blindly just crank it up and hope for the best. Running higher octane gas will help with the tuning mistakes of being lean.

oh trust me i'm not gonna just crank the boost. I see some guys get a few degrees of KR at the top of 2nd like you said. it seems a few degrees is ok, but should i just shut if i'm getting like over 5 degrees for some reason? like i said i'll probably be running stock boost levels with a power plate thrasher 92 and 94 octane, there is really no reason for knock, but ya never know :)

Tune for less than 3 degress at most. If you start to see 5* get out of it and turn the boost down. Once you start to run serious boost you want to tune for 0 knock

ok thanks, just trying to get an idea on where to shut down if for some reason i get a ton of knock..
