When our stock ECM cars experience knock (as shown on the scan tool display and power logger) i thought our ECM pulled timing out of our motors during these events??

I have never seen timing pulled out on my power logger files during knock events.

Is there a delay built in where timing is not removed unless the knock continues for a set time period?

Do I have a bad ECM?

Thanks

The Powerlogger displays commanded spark advance before any knock retard. The amount of knock retard you see is being subtracted from that.
So, what you are seeing is normal.

What parameter are you viewing on the Scanmaster that leads you to think your motor is knocking?
