About a year ago my engine went out, main and rod bearings. When i removed the engine found out it was a reman. engine. The deck height was .0030 difference from back to front, The pushrods were different lengths, and it was bored .040 over. Also the valve guides were the seals sit were broke off. So i found another 109 block,8445 heads, forged pistons,H.V. front cover and oil pump, and F.M. bearings.PROBLEM,after about 100 miles of riding(boost set at 5#'s) oil pressure dropped and the engine started knocking.Should I have replaced the rods and crank too?

You mean you did not have the crank checked, resized, etc? Same with the rod big ends?

goodbye eng..... get a know builder to do the next one. just my opinion.

Rods just checked or rods resized??? You should ALWAYS have them resized...Very cheap insurance...

What were your clearances on the rods and mains??? What was your oil pressure at idle???
