Hi All,
Just wanted to give a quick thank you and kudos for a job well done for the work they did on my car this past week.
Their website is www.wildridesracecars.com and and are located in Farmingdale, New Jersey (732-751-1113) and they do all kinds of fabrication and chassis and suspension work.
The owner Gene Giroud has a kick a$$ 7.50@188 Duster and is the current Quick 8 points leader at Englishtown, so I would say he knows a thing or two about driving and setting up race cars for safety and suspension.
In the past two years they have put in my rollcage, firebreak, frame notching, Wolfe bar (they sell their own anti-roll bar for our cars too).
After witnessing a horrific crash at Cecil 3 weeks ago when a racer lost his brakes and ended up hitting a tree in the woods and was severly injured (he's out of the hospital and on his way to recovery) I decided it was time to put a parachute on the car as an extra safety measure, I'd rather have it and not need it then vice versa.
Gene and his crew did a great job of installing the Stroud chute with air launcher. They made the mount itself removable so I can drive the car on street with use of the license plate. The whole job was meticulously done and I have no complaints with any of the work Gene and the crew at WildRides have done on my car. I attribute their suspension work to my 60' times being a best of 1.33.
If you are looking for a rollbar/cage, suspension work, parachute etc I highly recommend them.
