Since my car was originally a 307 Regal, it did not come equipped with a rear sway bar. I have been wondering, what effect does it have on launching a car?
The car doesnt seem to twist much off the line, but I cant really hold enough psi on my street tires to launch real hard anyway. I do know, that going around any slight corner when it shifts 1-2 is nearly suicide at WOT. It just goes all over the place.
But I am curious how adding a sway bar, even a stock sized one, would help in launching the car, if it has much of an effect at all????
TIA.

When I bought my T-type the rear wheel hop was awful. The car had an aftermarket, dealer install swaybar that was broken. I replaced it with an ATR bar and the wheel hop disappeared.
