Any one have a used laptop that you were using for Direct Scan?

I have an old IBM Thinkpad that will need to be used with an AC adaptor (battery dead). Works fine and definitely works with DirectScan - that is what I used it for + burning chips. $25 + ship.

I'm interested if he's not. Especially if you have the cable that connects to the direct scan from the pc.

rag231 contacted me via PM. Let's see how this works out and I will post his acceptance or denial here.

Haven't seen it for a while, turns out it is a Gateway 2000 64K ram, 4 Gig harddrive with floppy. Missing a cover in the front but screen latch is good. Everything seems to work - it's noisy like old times. Here are some pics of it booted up and with DS on the screen. It is a heavy puppy. Comes with the AC adapter but will need a new battery to work cordless.
