good advise

There is alot of things I do not know about the newer TVs. learned alot reading this sight.......

I've been looking at TV's for a few years now, and so far the one that I like the most for my purposes is the Sony 46" XBR6, which replaced the XBR4 pretty recently. Of course, there's the newly released XBR8, about $ 5K, I believe, Never seen one, only prices. The Sony Bravia 46" XBR6 currently goes for about 2K or a little more when on sale at the discount stores in kali. I currently have a 37" Polaroid, which is definitely not in the same league as a $2K unit.

When I was checking out a replacement TV for the bedroom a while back I checked out that Sony and was not like I was talking a year ago in this thread - and like I said earlier - it was about a year before that, that I was looking - even the cheap LCD's (Sony is not cheap) are not bad off-angle.

The Sony had its own special display and feed so I am sure it had top quality 1080p source - it WAS at Circuit City. I hear some are still around and nearly picked clean.
