I got a bad trans leak from the transmission from where the speedometer goes in. Is there a oring in there how do i take that off after i remove the bolt and piece that holds it in.

Short answer, yes their is a o-ring. Undo the speedo cable, then remove the bolt that holds the speedo assembly. Have a catch pan ready cause their will be some trans fluid that comes out, the speedo assembly pulls straight out, you will see the o-ring.

I tried to get that speedo piece off it wont pull off, do i have to drop the pan and undo a clip or anything?

Their is no clip holding it in other than the one on the outside of the case. They can be very tough to get out. Can you rotate it around any?

Keep spraying it with penetrating oil and trying to rotate it. Use something to protect the threads where the cable screws on. It's probably corroded, steel & aluminum don't like each other + road salt makes it worse.
