leak @ T. Body pivot-a bad thing?

I was playing with trans TV and noticed that my T Body pivots are sloppy. I sprayed carb cleaner and sure enough, engine ate it up. For so long I have had 900 + high speed o2's and low snap shut throttle o2's . Also have had boost creep. Question is , how bad is a little leak. Are there any ways to repair the pivot bushing or is it time to step up to a Jay Carter, etc.

The seals are not available as far as I know. I dug out my old seals and replaced them with rubber o-rings and it works great. Do a search on o-rings in this forum and you will find the part # I used as this question came up about a month ago.
