The problem started last year when it was inspection time which made me fail....But someone told me to block the vaccum line to the canister by the front lights...That made it stop until recently and now it puts it right on the ground again if it idles.

I only have the return line hooked up to the tank and the canister still and somehow its getting backed up. This is really making me go crazy trying to figure out what it is so if u have any advice please help me soon.

Thanks
Scott

P.S. Have a Happy New Year

Either you've done something wrong,or something isn't connected right.
Where exactly did you block off?
Did you change the fuel pump recently?
The vent for the tank sending unit is a hole in the top of the plate fopr the sending unit with a pipe attached for a hose to the cannister.
For fuel to make it to the cannister,it's possible you crossed your return and vapor lines back by the tank.
I did this on my old carburated Cutlass.
After a few minutes, fuel would run out the cannister.
Plug the vacuum line to the canister from the manifold, and voila,no more leakage.
maybe that's it?

I put a new pump in the car when i did the rest of my upgrades...I blocked the vaccum line when it comes from the top of the motor. It stopped for awhile but now its doing it again.

I checked the lines at the tank when i did the pump and they are fine. Anything else that could cause this?

Thanks for the help

Scott
