sorry Usetaboost, we are not splitting atoms, been working too much. I am going to try and get those numbers today and post them. Thanks for all the replies. Hopefully I will get this sorted out soon.

ok scanmaster numbers still look okay... but still running lean (according to the knock and the bright, bright white spark plugs and I no matter how much fuel I add does not change) Here they are:
Hot Idle 45 mph cruise
o2-863 100-714
AF-06 16
L8-41 59
BAT-14.0 14.1
INT-128 135
BL-117 125
CLT-175 162
ATS-71 51
RPM-775 1650
TPS-.46 .78
IAC-41 73
CC-89 127
Hope that helps.

Your tps is way high. set that at .41 with key on. Set your line off fuel pressure to 43

I assume your cc's are counting up and cycling while driving...not just sitting at 127...correct?

This is a bit of a swag but is there any way you could be running more boost than you think you are? The reason I ask is typically a stock car with a stock size turbo won't max out the MAF at 255 gps with only 13 # boost. If for instance you had a bad gasket between the throttle body and vacuum block you would probably see low boost depending on where your gauge is connected. Also you wouldn't have the proper boost reference to the regulator resulting in low fuel pressure at WOT.

Just an idea

I will have to check that out but makes sense to me. If something strange is going to happen well........

Hi Neal.
But he's max-ing out at idle (unless I misread)...does the same theory apply?

I don't think its injectors...if it was injectors I think you would prolly have other issues...wet plugs...hard starting related to flooded cylinders....etc.
How long does your fuel presure stay put after you shut the ignition off.
If it bleeds down quickly...then you have stuck injector or two....if not...then they are OK.
Run some injector cleaner through a couple tanks just for luck...

Oh and....YOU AINT RUNNIN' CHEAP GAS IN THAT CAR, ARE YA SON?

Tim,

Now I'm confused. Maxing out at an idle? You're right the 02 mv at an idle is high but Eric's chips usually have a closed loop idle and the BLM at idle is 117. I think the car going lean at WOT is the main problem.

Neal

Sorry....what I meant is his BLM's indicate his is MAF pulling a lot of fuel at idle (almost maxing itself out...)...
My old bad MAF was doing this too...it would pretty much sit at 113 and not budge at idle, and it also caused the car to bog and misfire with any amount of throttle...I also could tap it and it would cause a stumble.

The loaner MAF I'm using does the opposite....it's fine at idle and cruise, but at WOT, it does not signal to add enough fuel no matter how much fuel and alky I dial in through the chip or alky I throw at it and the O2's stay dangerously low....mine is the third car it's acted this way on so it's definitely the MAF, so I was comparing my issue with this loaner with the OP's

Tim,

Without getting too far off track the BLM at idle doesn't really concern me that much. If it was 90 or 160 I'd be worried.

In regard to the MAF problems you're having what reading are you seeing at WOT? I suspect it's less than 255 grams per second which will cause a lean condition.
