Anybody have a good place that isn't too expensive that re-wraps leather wheels? My friend has a vintage momo wheel that he wants to get wrapped in black perforated leather with red stitching. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

might check with the guy on ebay that rewraps them, buddy of mine bought one and sent in his old one and it was real nice looking.

A name please?...

Claude .

P.S: I saw that Kirban's sells some but I think that $269.95 is a little expensive ...I'm asking this because I already have a spare steering wheel in which I'd like to drill a hole for a trans brake button, but the leather on it is far from being nice......someone has a suggestion?

Call Barb and Chuck Pelton at: 1-248-681-4336
They have been doing steering wheels for years and Iv'e bought plenty of the Turbo Buick ones and they are NICE!!!

Where are they located...and do they have a web site?...Oh yeah, do they recondition your own steering wheel of if they have an exchange program?...I'd rather have mine redone as I plan to modify it (drill hole in one spoke) for a trans brake switch...
Thank you,

Claude.:)

Claude,
They are in West Bloomfield, MI. I don't think they have a web site but yes you can send your wheel in and they'll redo it. These are the same people that have them on ebay for $195. Like I said Iv'e had many of them recovered by them and they do awesome work. You won't be disappointed. I'm one fussy sob and all of them I had done were NICE !!!

Second that on Barb Pelton but actually her sister does the steering wheels now...I've had 2 done by them and they were perfect...and I'm very picky...here's the contact info:
