left turn signal will not cancel

How hard is it to fix the turn signal cancel in the steering column. My left turn signal will not turn off after a turn. I know I could just turn right all the time. But I don't want this to turn into a politcal statement.

You'll have to take off the steering wheel. Remove the wave washer, and the lock plate. A screwdriver is needed to take off the hazard lights knob. Under all this you should see the turn signal cancle cam. It's just a little plastic thingy. Just replace in reverse. I'm not sure if this is the same for buicks (this is how I did it on my 4th gen fbody I had), but it should be similar at least. HTH.
