That's what my wife is telling everyone
Hi Everyone
My wife, Denise, and I am participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Scenic Shore 150 again this year on July 18-19. It will be my 8th ride and her 6th ride. We each need to raise $250 by July 6th in order to ride. The first 5 years we have raised money in honor of a little girl, Kristina who was in my oldest daughter's dance class and was diagnosed with leukemia on her 4th birthday. This year we are again riding in memory of Kristina who lost her 5+ year battle on April 9, 2007. She was a bubbly little girl who could light up a room with her smile and spent much of her life trying to make people smile and laugh.
We are also riding for the best friend of our niece in Maryland who was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgekin's that has spread to her lungs.
She had been feeling tired since Easter and after visiting 18 different doctors she was finally diagnosed with Hodgekin's. She almost didn't survive her first Chemo treatment as she was code blue but they brought her back. She will be in the ICU when she gets her next Chemo treatment.

Even a couple bucks will help. I understand that the economy is tough. I found out a couple weeks ago that I will be required to take 8 days of unpaid leave in each of the next 2 years which is about a 3% pay cut.
I've raised $275 dollars so I can officially ride but my wife still needs to raise about $100 more by July 6 so she can ride.
Thanks
