We have an LG French (four) door fridge that turned 2 years old this week. The freezer coil took a dump and we lost a lot of stuff in it. The warranty is 7 years on the sealed system but only 1 year on labor. I have e-mailed LG and they seem to want to work it out as far as the warranty. The tech that diagnosed the leak told me that this was common for the freezer coils as they were subbed out for mfg (not built by LG) and that LG knows of the problem. Thing is, I've not been able to find any info online about this or any recalls, TSB's, etc. Anyone here know about this or had a similar experience?
