what do you fellas think about lift bars?? i need something... im twisting up my axles.. you can feel it twist even during hard shifts with no tire spin... or are ladder bars better? ideally i would love to have the lateral bars and the ladder bars. (kinda lika a gnx!!drool*) i still like the way the car squats when you hop on it.. i dunno, i'd love to hear your opinions though... P.S. its maybe a high 12 sec. car.. but not for long:D

If you are twisting up your axles on a high 12 second car you need new bushings in the control arms (or maybe new lower control arms), good rear shocks and a larger rear swaybar.

This should eliminate 99% of the twisting up of your axles.

Ladder bars or lift bars added to a rearend that needs work will only mask the problems until something breaks. It's better to fix what you have before bolting on a lot of new parts.

Squatting when you hop on it is not always good. The GNX actually lifts when you hop on it.

Dumb idea to put ladder bars on a 12 sec car... You're better off puting good busings in and if you still don't like it then put new shocks and springs on. This will cure it on a 12 second car..;)

the car already has KYB gas shocks and fairly new springs.. i'll look into the control arms and bushings.. i found some hotchkis boxed lower control arms, but the pocket book will not allow that.. thanks a lot for your help.

Kirban does a complete GNX setup on our cars. Pricy $2k + exhaust & labor, but it sure looks good.
