Lifters bleed down

My 86t has a fairly new motor that has some mods. Since the motor has been installed and has had some miles put on after sitting for a little while or a couple of days when startin it up it has lifters tapping and then goes away. What would cause these lifter to bleed down?

Thats the was it is. Nothing wrong. Are you using a Delco filter?

Yes, using delco filter PF52

What would cause these lifter to bleed down?

Normal clearance between the lifter plunger and lifter body.

What oil [brand & weight] and additive, if any, are you using?
