l am in the process of buying a dual ball bearing turbo from L.E.I sent in my 62-1 for a rebuild through a third party to get a rebuild but decided to go dual ball bearing. My question is do i get my original turbo back since i am getting a new one or does limit engineering keep it as a core? Thanks

Call them up and ask Chopper the exact same thing.

Ask the "third party" those same questions.

Normally there is no core charge or need for buying a new turbo.

I bet if you pay the shipping back you will get it back.

Do the math and see if rebuilding it and then selling it that way will be profitable or cost effective to have as a spare.

I keep a TA-62 limit rebuild as a spare and it will fit and work with both cars I have. :)
