Those of you with limited's with chrome trim, how hard is it to convert over to a WO2?

Pretty easy as far as the windsheild, back glass. All of those moldings are clip on. The drip rail moldings are a combination of screws and glue. The quarter glass is a little tougher because it is bonded onto the body. That wide molding on top of the door also has clips and rivets but I had a 84 T-Type that used a wide black molding there so that might not be a problem either. Now that lower wide chrome molding on the bottom of the car has rivets that have to be ground off so it looks like that is the hardest part.

Thats what I thought.
Actually I don't mind the rest of the chrome, just the bottom of the car is what bothers me.

I had considered doing that very thing with my white 87 Limited. I tought about changing the obvious items like the headlight bezels, window trim and tail lights but that still left a lot to do. After looking at a true WO2 white T there were a lot of other little items to change to complete the look some of which were; door handles, lock cylinders (trunk and door), power antenna mount, trunk trim, fender well trim and so on. I don't do things 1/2 way so I decided against it.

Strange thing is if you ordered a 1987 Limited and opted for the WO2 option it only cost you $35!! Standard Regals cost $100.

As much as I liked my Limited I get many more complements on my WO2 T (see photo links below....click the T for my current car). The Limited was a pleasure to own due to it's uniqueness.

Had my Limited been a WO2 I wouldn't have sold it for anything in the world!!
