Line lock and mc woes

Does it really matter if u put the line lock before or after the proportioning valve? another ques is if im building boost w vac brakes dont i stand a chance of blowing the master cyl or wheel cyl ( i currently have an 86 capice mc w s10 whl cyl) cause its just like power brakimg?

People have done both, but I think installing AFTER the combination valve will prevent various anomalies and "false warning" lights from occuring.
