Little rattle at high rpm

Hi My 84 hotair has a valve train rattle at high rpm should I replace my springs if so what springs should I get it all stock and run's good at low to mid power range no rattle also will be doing this with motor in the car what's the easiest way and i don't have the spring tool anyone want to sell me or loan me one was thinking of doing lifters also but would also have to do the cam too cause i know you can't do cam without doing the lifters as well any advice is appreciated. Comp 981. Stronger than stock. Put them on my stock WE 4 and stopped valve float. More power

Thanks for the info did you just use the original shims were on there already? Or did you replace them?

We reused the original shims. This was on stock 87 heads. Stock springs are weak and cause valves float. Replaced 3 years ago and car runs great.
