Locate Previously Sold 87 GN

Hello all any info would be much appreciated. My father has recently passed and I am trying to locate and purchase back his 87 GN that he bought new. Car was sold in the mid 90s. I have ran carfax and narrowed the car to greater Texas area. I have the original Vin# and last known plate number when sold.

I bought a new 1986 that I tracked down. Called the current owner (did not answer), sent a text (he read it, but did not respond), sent him a mailed letter (with copy of the original window sticker) and he still would not communicate. Car had not been on the road for a few years, but he wanted nothing to do with me. So, who knows what you will find, but I wish you more luck.

Thank you for the reply. Hopefully I have a little better luck. The GN hasn’t been on the road since 2013 as well.
