Location of Fuel Filter on the Racetronics Conversion?

I have the conversion kit with the Perma-Cool filter instead of the Fram filter. When I tried to locate it on the floor reinforcement the filter hits the frame. Anyone else have this setup and what did you do?

Installed mine a couple of months ago and this is how the Fram housing mounts . It looks like your going to have to mount a plate on the cross member to move the mounting holes forward for that filter housing.
