Im curious on what the diffrence is on the lock up non lock up conveters,and which is better to go with. I have a TE60 with the stock converter and the lagg is just killing me im needeing somthing bigger but dont know what to go with.
 
Keep the lockup. With a Non lockup you more than likely will get more heat, less MPG, etc. From the mods in your sig, I would def stick with a LU. NL is when usually when you start getting really serious and see more track, less street.
 
If you just want some extra stall to spool the turbo, there are a lot to choose from however you get what you pay for. I had a couple lockup units and some cannot be locked at WOT without tearing up the clutch on a fast car. The units that could take the abuse were not efficient at WOT therefore it was mandatory to lock it up at WOT to get the best mph. I've helped tune a few cars with the Te-60 and was able to get good spooling with some chip tuning and/or boost controllers. Have you tried leaning out the bottom end?
