Could somebody please tell me what the advantages are and disadvantages of locking up the torque convertor? I will be using my car as somewhat a daily driver and going to the track on the weekends. Thanks alot.:)

If it is going to be a street car stay with the lock up! It helps with fuel milage and strain on the converter while crusing. Also at the track it will give a not so heavily modified car a little extra umph on the back end!

Do a search in the transmission forum on it. Tons of great info there!

Good luck!
