Lockup or non lock up convertor?

Im am shopping for a 2800 stall convertor for a mostly street setup te44 and slightly bigger cam (atr 313b) Should I get a lockup or nonlockup? Thanks Eric

sorry about the hijack, but i have to ask. i never really have understood the difference between a lockup and nonlockup converter. what is each good for and what is locking up actually.
