Been collecting parts lately, and running out of room in my garage.

109 Longblock, zero miles since rebuilt, never been started, 8445 heads, new valves and valvejob, new bearings throughout, new pistons, new rings, new freezeplugs, flexplate included. Was told it was the stock turbo crankshaft that didnt require any work when the motor was freshened, but I have not pulled the pan to check it out yet. Motor was originally in an 86 regal. All work was done at a local NAPA and I have the invoice from when the work was done. Still has the break in lube on the camshaft. This is an NA block. Would need the turbo oil drain drilled in the front of the block. With no intake on it, should be easy to do. I bought this block off of a guy that is into lowriders and the car hopping thing that is putting a V8 in his car. Painted orange:eek: $900

109 NA block that checked out fine, standard bore. $275

109 NA block standard bore. One of the main bearings let go, it will need a line hone. $200

BOP Turbo 400 transmission, 9 inch tailshaft, stock and needs a rebuild, $150.

(6) Stay down license plate frames $20 shipped in the continental US.

Can add pics or send pics as needed, will entertain offers or trades, let me know what you got. All prices are plus shipping but can arrange delivery, or may be able to meet you halfway if you cover gas.

Thanks,
John

Due to interest in the longblock I did pull the pan today.

Good news: Everything was new, new pistons, new valves, valvejob, stock 2 dot rods. I did talk to the machine shop that did the work today, block was degreased, decked and bored, cam bearings installed and freeze plugs installed.

Bad news:

According to the rod bearings the crank has been cut .030.

Price has been reduced to $700 for the longblock.

Pics to follow.

Make an offer, the worst thing I could do is decline. Would consider trades for a 67 or close to that size turbo, Slicks, drag radials, shop tools, wheels surprise me.

Im new to the open motor Thing so excuse me if the questoin is dumb... Why is the crank being cut .030 a bad thing?

A crankshaft that has been cut 30 under is not something that should be used in a turbo charged application in my opinion. It makes the crank weak in a high horsepower application. It may be fine in a low horsepower application, but why chance it.

Here is a thread where someone used a 30 under crank, the results speak for themselves. http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/ge.../345376-cars-getting-dyno-tuned-tomorrow.html

For someone to use this longblock, the most economical option would be to take their crank or an uncut std/std crank and replace the one in it. Which would also mean replacing the rod and main bearings.

Pics as requested, longblock has been bored 30 over, never been fired. New valvejob, seals on the heads. Looks like some got a little generous with the hugger orange paint on the heads.

New 30 over pistons probably stock replacement. Only number I could find on them was probably a NAPA part #:

Got the longblock painted with Rustoleum engine enamel black.

Picked up a few cranks as well:

2 N/A cranks, will need a polish, $50 each
1 STD/STD Turbo crank, needs nothing, just a block to put it in. $250

I could work out something if someone wanted the longblock with the STD/STD crank installed.

Don't be afraid to make an offer, interested in trades as well.

How much shipped to NJ 08510.Its a house

What are you looking for in particular?

I just shipped the $275 109 block on tuesday. For a bare block to NJ roughly $130 via UPS Ground. Approx $350 shipping for the longblock, but it would be more cost effective for you, to have it shipped seperately: Block, heads, rods and pistons. I wouldn't bother with the 30 under crank.

I still have:
109 block that will need machine work
Longblock
2 NA STD Cranks
1 STD/STD turbo cranks
TH400 trans
5 or 6 Staydown license plate brackets

re

I would be interested in the long block. The problem is the long block weighs more then 150lbs which is the max weight you can ship through UPS Ground.Whats ur state/zip I might be able to get a few quotes.Anyway thanks

I think the most economical option might be to ship it all seperately. Seeing that the crank is 30 under, I would replace it. Well if you are gonna replace the crank, why not ship the block, heads, rods and pistons seperately to save on shipping?

But if you can get it freighted cheaper, I will be more than happen to assist by securing it to a pallet and dropping it off.
