One more thing. The housing deal from Mosier is a good deal. You are getting there big drag axles in the kit. My dad has a collection of broken stock 9" axles. He stopped messing with stock axles and bought the Mosier ones and hasnt buted one since (6 yrs ago). He runs a mid 11 second Nova with a 4 speed. It seams that when you shorten stock axles it make them weaker. The mosier housing bolts right in, has the big axles(these alon are like $400), axle bearings are pressed on for you, big wheel studs installed, axle seals, and bolts. It also comes with a big cast iron torque arm adapter that bolts to the housing with 3 bolts. By the time you bought a housing, big axles, new bearings ect, and then had the housing modified for width and suspension and torque arm mountings ect.. $800 shipped to you for the mosier set up seams pretty cheap.
