Any photographs and/or input on these? I am lucky enough to have a wife who purchased these for me for X-mass. I read a post of a 6000k bulb but I have not seen any information on the 4300k bulbs.

Can't really answer anything about the 4300's, but here is a thread where I did the ALRADCO HID install. Supposedly the 4300's are clear, and the 6000's are blueish, but I cannot notice any tint to them. They are amazing! I drive to work every morning in the dark, so they have made the trip so much better. I can actually see what the heck is going on now. I was worried I would be flashed a lot because they are so bright, but I have only been flashed one time in many months, and that was because I was on an uneven surface with the car coming towards me. They are awesome, I think you will be very pleased!

Your wife is awesome, she knows a thing or two about cars. Very cool. I'm out of town but have some pics I can put up later. You two have a happy new year. Thank you both again.

Yes I am a very lucky man. When I blew up the last motor and wanted to sell the car she put her foot down and siad 'Like Hell!'.

@Turbo39151 Thanks great stuff in there!

4300 kelvin is the actual temperature of the sun and is what we have for everyday light.
above 4300 it get blue into purples and vision goes down but they are insanely bright.below 4300 is yellower and helps in the fog.

4300 is the best temp for headlights as K/C daylighters and Hella's(the 2 most popular offroad lights) are the most chosen for best vision

Squid, so if I'm reading this right, and nice write up BTW! And the other link posted explaining HID terms etc... You used the 6000k bulb, if you would have used the 4300k bulb the light would have been even brighter than your results correct?

4300k would be brighter then a 6000k bulb(more lumens) my 6000k bulbs have a blueish tint to them.

Here's my F350 with our 4300k kit. Truck has a lift and is on 37's. The 4300 vs 6000 just really comes down to personal preference. The 4300 are basically all white light while the 6000 have a hint of blue. We've done everything from '57 Chevys to, Civics, Yukons, Trucks, F800, motorcylces, and this weekend I'll be doing my young son's ATV.
