Looking for the 83 TTYpe I used to co-own, just curious to see if anyone here may have seen it around.
Last known location was Richfield, Ohio. A former friend and I bought this car from a guy in Muskegon, MI back in 2003ish. My friend initially covered all the costs until 2005 when I started to invest in the car. We didn't know what the hell we were doing and went through 3 engines in 2 years, lol. Anyway, we had a falling out in 2006 and went our separate ways, he kept the car and I took the loss. Last I saw was he was selling it on craigslist in 2009/10 timeframe. The original engine was replaced with a hot-air engine, then later converted to a Frankenstein LC2 configuration, with a powerstroke intercooler. Engine was built with an eagle crank, KB MKII cam, forged pistons, hooker headers, PT54 turbo, hemco 70 upper, accufab 70mm TB. I only have a few pictures but the car was blue, blue rag top, blue interior.
Just curious about what happened to this car, any info would be great.
Thanks
