Looking for a tranny for a 1985 GN

Mine is shot. I would like a stall about 2800 to go with it. I posted a message in the for sale section, but no one ever reads there so I'm posting here too.

Ive got a BRF tranny in the parts for sale section but its a nlu and has a 4k stall ac 9 in. Shoot me a pm if interested.I will seperate.

I need a BQ, not a BRF. How much for the stall, what speed, and what condition?

Teri- the BRF is better than the BQ.- did you have your old one checked out as far as the modulator or governor and torque converter- it could be just one of those.

A BRF should work in place of a BQ, I doubt it is much if any better, the VB's are very similar.


Chances of finding a 1984-1985 BQ trans are pretty slim.
I have one built up with the BQ valve body but I'm about to bolt it in my car.
