I've got the intercooler mounted.I'm installing a new Alradco radiator and dual spall fan set-up,I have to swap out the passenger side fan because the compressor side pipe was hitting the fan.I contacted Pete at Alradco and he said no problem.sent fan back the other day and as soon as I get the new new one I'll, update.so far the install is smooth.had to oval the holes in the header to center the ic.and offs a bad ass piece.takes up the entire grill area and then some.

How is fitment, quality, packaging, etc? Worth $1,000?

I'll be doing something slightly different when I order. I have a recored radiator with stock fan. I want to install the IC and compare temps. Then I'll change out the fans. The whole draw to this IC is lower street operating temps. I want to see how it works without upgrading anything in my cooling system; then most likely do fans.

fits good,had to oval the holes a bit.yeah polished.great quality.packgd real good too .arrived in just a few days.my first front mount so worth the 1k?ill let you know on that.it is pricey,but what isnt on these?
ive always bought the best for this car,so f i purchased something cheap,it just wouldnt feel right.

i was having the iat temp max out on mine over 200 within a few seconds going down track.on a 3 hr drive with ac on and 115 outside it was getting hot.i got good deal on the rad and fans from another guy here who never installed it.should cure both issues.i hope.

here are some pics of the pipes .i had to remove the aftermarket cross support bar i had installed.it was interfering with the pipes.i will have to fab it up another way.waiting on heater hose kit from kirbans before i can actually drive it.looks sweet.i had to actually oval the holes on the top over atleast in inch for it to set perfectly between the bumper supports.no biggy.

That's weird about having to oval out the holes more.

I have a trans cooler mounted to the front of the x-bracing in that space. How much space would you say is between the intercooler and that bracing?

What do you have on the intake to make it high enough to clear the MAF pipe? A spacer? Different upper intake and throttle body? Just thinking for down the road
